Tonight, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to the Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, for UFC Vegas 93. Headlining the event is a men’s Flyweight bout featuring Alex Perez against Tatsuro Taira. In the co-main event, Douglas Silva de Andrade squares off against Miles Johns in a Bantamweight showdown.

The Flyweight division continues its journey, albeit lacking the charisma of past champions like Brandon Moreno or the intense rivalries that once grabbed headlines. Current champion Alexandre Pantoja has defended his title twice, notably against Brandon Royval and Steve Erceg, yet these victories haven’t sparked significant buzz in the MMA world.
