The December 20 episode of Friday Night SmackDown is set to deliver an action-packed night from the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Pre-taped after last week’s episode, the show allows the WWE roster some time off for the Christmas season, but the excitement remains as intense as ever.

The Bloodline’s presence will loom large as Solo Sikoa and his faction continue their campaign of dominance following their defeat at Survivor Series. The group’s storyline with Drew McIntyre will take center stage as McIntyre’s relentless vendetta against the Bloodline escalates. Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga will clash with LA Knight, Andrade, and Apollo Crews in a six-man tag match, continuing the hostilities sparked by the Bloodline’s unprovoked attacks.

Adding to the drama, Kevin Owens will address the Hartford crowd after his shocking attack on Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Rhodes, who suffered severe injuries due to Owens’ package piledriver, remains sidelined, and KO’s actions promise to be a major talking point.

Braun Strowman and Carmelo Hayes will meet in a rematch following their one-sided bout last week. Hayes seeks redemption against the Monster Among Men, but Strowman’s dominance may prove too much to overcome.

Johnny Gargano and Alex Shelley are set to collide in a grudge match stemming from Gargano’s betrayal during #DIY’s recent Tag Team Championship win over the Motor City Machine Guns. Shelley’s quest for vengeance adds emotional weight to this heated encounter.

In women’s tag team action, Bianca Belair and Naomi will defend their newly reformed partnership against Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Candice LeRae. With the titles on the line, tensions will be high as Belair and Naomi aim to solidify their reign.
