PREVIEW:

The upcoming edition of Monday Night RAW, on September 16 at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, will continue building toward WWE’s next Premium Live Event (PLE), Bad Blood. This edition starts an all-USA Network week, featuring RAW, NXT, and SmackDown on the same network. One of the most anticipated moments will be the return of CM Punk, who makes his first WWE television appearance since being attacked by Drew McIntyre on the fallout edition following WWE Bash in Berlin. With a Hell in a Cell match between the two set for Bad Blood, fans can expect Punk to address their heated rivalry, with potential for another brawl as tensions escalate.

In tag team action, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor will defend their WWE World Tag Team Championship for the first time since claiming the titles over two months ago. Their challengers, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of New Day, look to dethrone the champions. However, given the strong momentum behind the Judgment Day faction, Balor and McDonagh are expected to retain their titles.

One of the night’s marquee matchups will feature “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman seeking redemption against Bron Breakker. After several violent clashes over the past few weeks, the two powerhouses will face off in what is expected to be an intense singles match. Speculation suggests the match may end in a double disqualification, with both competitors ignoring the referee’s orders and continuing their brawl outside the ring.

Finally, Damian Priest will seek revenge against “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio following last week’s attack by the Judgment Day. Although interference from Judgment Day is highly anticipated, Priest is expected to overcome the odds and secure a victory despite the distractions from the faction. With so many explosive encounters on the card, this edition of RAW promises to be action-packed as the road to WWE Bad Blood intensifies.
